Special Projects

From 3D Printed Spitfires, to talking telephone boxes, Chronicle works on a range of innovative projects that help to bring life stories and social history to the public.  We like experimenting with new technologies and applying it to life stories and heritage.  We're currently exploring ideas with AI, AR/VR and blockchain.

The Tattingstone Phone Box

We were commissioned by the Suffolk Archives for a project to  repurpose this disused K6 phone box to create an audio booth that lets people dial up and listen to local stories.  The stories were collected from local people and referred to their memories of the village.

MH100 Spitfire Trail

The Spitfire Art Trail was developed as part of the celebrations for the Centenary celebrations of Martlesham Heath in Suffolk.  We created 3D printed Spitfires that were decorated and formed a trail of stories that captured life stories of people associated with the former airfield.  See more here.
