Digital Storytelling Workshops

As well as helping people to record their own personal stories and reminiscences individually, Chronicle also works with small groups of 5-6 people.

These storytelling sessions typically take place over either a day or two half-days and take participants through the steps to create their own story

.

Our digital storytelling sessions are designed to be fun and practical - we use iPads (provided) to create your video stories.  

The main topics covered include:

- An introduction to digital storytelling

- The Chronicle STAR method for storytelling

- Scripting your story

- Recording your audio narrative

- Digitising images and other materials for your story

- Editing your story using an iPad

- Screening

At the end of the session, participants will have created a story to enjoy with family, friends and the local community.

Often our workshops are sponsored by community groups or organisations as part of our broader project work.

As part of these we're  looking for people who are willing to share their personal stories and memories. 

All ages welcome!    Places limited.
